A note from Steph:
Shepherd’s huts were traditionally pulled around the fields by a farmer during lambing time, giving shelter from the elements while he tended to his flock. They were often built with whatever materials the farmer had to hand and would in most cases be very simple structures.
Nowadays shepherd’s huts are most commonly used as glamping huts for guests to enjoy a peaceful stay in a structure inspired by history and offering a variety of modern comforts.

I’ve been fortunate to have worked with many lovely customers over the years producing unique huts that are full of charm and character. Each hut is HANDCRAFTED in Wensleydale using both traditional and modern techniques, and a fine selection of materials.
If you’re interested in owning you own beautiful shepherd’s hut, please get in touch so we can talk about your ideas.
It’s vitally important that you love and cherish your hut so we would work closely together to ensure that your needs and desires are met, and that your shepherd’s hut dreams are realised for decades to come.❤️”
